Real estate developer organises iftar for workers at its various construction sites

Abu Dhabi, September, 2009: Tamouh, a leading Abu-Dhabi-based real estate developer, celebrated the spirit of the Holy Month of Ramadan by organising a series of iftars for its 12,800 strong labourforce at two construction sites in the capital city. CEO Mr. Joe Ong, as well as COO Mr. Cheah Meng Foo and CFO Mr. Kasif Shamsi , along with the management and staff, participated in the iftars organized at the company's construction sites on Reem Island and Meena Plaza on September 13, 14 and 16. The iftars at the iconic Reem Island development were organized at Marina Square, Central Business District and City of Lights to reach out to the 11,600 workers deployed at these three key Tamouh projects.

Tamouh's top management thanked the labour force for their sincere efforts in translating the company's vision into reality and took a proactive lead in arranging iftar for them along with the respective project directors, managers, senior administration and other staff.

Lauding the workers for their dedication and commitment, Mr Ong said, "Architects and designers envision a project but it is the workers on the ground who actually translate the vision into reality. They are the real 'behind-the-scenes' heroes who work tirelessly to realise the developer's vision. We organised the iftars to convey our deep appreciation for the hard work our labour force is putting in. Ramadan is a month of sharing and caring and we take this opportunity to celebrate the spirit of the Holy Month with our extended family of 12,800 labour force."
